The Zeitgeist

I had the pleasure, along with a bunch of our friends, of taking one of my dearest friends Ted Todorov out for a little bachelor’s party/dinner tonight (at Natori, in the East Village on St. Marks). It’s amazing how fast decades fly by: We met in the 1st 5 mins of freshman orientation at NYU a zillion years ago, and he’s been one of my favourite people and best friends ever since. And now, finally, he getting married (yay!) to an utterly lovely, woman (who happens to be a chef!) who has been a friend of ours for ~15 years (they’ve been together for over 5).

Where did almost 3 decades get off to..? Time to queue up Joni Mitchell’s Circle Game and wallow in some serious navel-gazing nostalgia.
