The Labor Day Cliff

Published by David HM Spector at 2:19 pm under Life

Wow.. that went fast.  Just a few short seconds ago my oldest finished 1st grade and was starting summer camp:  It was the end of June.  Now it’s back to school for 2nd grade for her; new job for my wife with her brand shiny new LMSW (she assures me I can still ask her SQL/DB questions at all hours of the day and night. ) However what’s really scary is just how fast these mellow summer days are going to turn into crisp autumn nights.  I call this the Labor Day Cliff; summer falls off it right into fall.   Oddly, every year it seems to happen faster.   Of course, it could just be me :\
